Bride and groom share thier first kiss at thier Relaxed and fun wedding at Huntsmill Farm

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing S&C for years, as a couple they’re chilled out, fun loving and are big family people and that really showed through out their day. I’ve never had a wedding where I’ve been made to feelThey day itself was on a pleasant mid July day, the sun was shining down on Buckingham where Huntmill Farm, a wonderful rustic venue can be found.

Huntmill Farm is a gorgeous Buckinghamshire wedding venue just outside Milton Keynes. The venue comprises of a converted 18th Century barn that can accommodate 100 guests which has a warm feeling to it, perfect for a relaxed ceremony and wedding breakfast. Huntmill farm’s rustic courtyard and garden gives guests plenty of space to spread out and soak up the sun in the venue’s deck chairs or playing lawn games.

A big draw of Huntmill Farm is the venues on site cottages which hold up to 32 people and create the perfect space for everyone to get ready in the morning. The Old Dairy, which is the wedding suite, has a chilled out living room downstairs, where Sam and her girls got ready, creating this pre party feeling. Whilst upstairs is a beautiful two person bedroom which is light and airy, making for a relaxed space to get into your glad rags.

The Ceremony took place indoors within Huntmill Farm’s high walled old brick barn. The space itself feels lovely and intimate with lots of natural light streaming through the large windows. S&C’s wonderful guests filled it a lot of love and joy and the couple were beaming from ear to ear the whole way through.

I love it when couples do things there way and S&C were no exception. During their drinks reception S&C kept their guests amused with a live piano player, Nigel Hammond, who did some awesome covers. They skipped the traditional canapé’s for literal Skips in the form of their DIY crisp wall- How cool! Personally, I love that they included pickled onion monster munch. And lastly, They had guest bingo cards, where guests had to go around finding someone with the corresponding traits, great for breaking the ice and keeping competitive friends entertained.

Huntmill Farm has a picturesque rural backdrop, with beautiful fields which are perfect for couple photos and providing a moment of quiet for the two to enjoy that just married feeling.

For their details S&C opted for warm colours and bright sunflowers that suited their personality. The Barn in Huntmill Farm is split into two with the opposite end from the ceremony section being used for the wedding breakfast, the back wall has a fairy light curtain that looks super cute and the space itself gives off a lovely cosy vibe.

Additional favourite detail of mine from this wedding is how the couple had a little fondant icing figure of their beautiful dog Gerry on their cake. Huntmill Farm is a Dog friendly venue but they choose not to have Gerry in attendance (and having met the very excitable pup at their Engagement shoot I can’t blame them) but this is a super cute way of having your pet there with you on your wedding day.
